Patty
Ryan has enjoyed many years of show-business success, both nationally and
internationally.
Her songs have charted in 18 countries all over the world, including
numberone hits in
Japan
,
Hong Kong
,
Switzerland
,
France
and the
USA
.
Her
biggest hit “You’re my love, you’re my life” earned her
numerous golden discs across the globe.
She
has an extraordinary voice that is easily recognised and an incredible
range. Combined with her star allure, this voice has enabled Patty to
appear as a star guest on numerous gala tours both at home and abroad,
among them memorable appearances in
Las Vegas
(Mirage)
and
Los Angeles
(Hall Of Fame). Her sold-out shows speak for themselves, as
does her
performance in
Paris
with Kylie Minogue.
Her
tours of
Japan
and
Asia
can also be counted among her many career highlights.
Packed
concert halls in
Japan
(
Tokyo
,
Yokohama
,
Kyoto
) and
Hong Kong
were milestones
of her
tour. And her live performances on Japanese television led Polydor (
Japan
) to crown her the “European Disco Queen” on the spot.
Countless
performances as a gala star on various cruise ships and appearances on
wellknown TV shows at home and abroad (such as first place on ZDF’s “Hitparade”)
furtherhighlight the energy of this enthusiastic artist.
Around
two years ago, Patty Ryan embarked on a new path in the German music
business.
Thanks to the support of her new team and the fact that she now has a
management for the first time, Patty Ryan is enjoying more and more
national success.
Patty
Ryan’s diversity and the opportunities offered by combining sport and
music have
allowed her
to play a key role in the "Americanisation" of large-scale
sporting events, among them the final of the ATP tennis tour “GERRY
WEBER Open” which was aired on ZDF,
World
Champion Fight REGINA HALMICH in the BAYARENA also aired on ZDF, the final
soccer match played by ULF KIRSTEN in front of 2 million TV viewers (DSF)
and around 30,000 soccer fans in the Dresden Stadium, as well as a soccer
match with WSV-Bayern Munich in Wuppertal's sold-out Zoo Stadium, watched
by Germany’s ex-Federal President Johannes Rau, 25,000 fans in the
stadium, and millions of TV viewers (ZDF, DSF, ARD).
STEFFI GRAF Charity Gala (Interconti
Berlin
).
The
Concert-Tour in
Russia
(initiated by AUTORADIO) was another event highlight in 2004.Together with
Thomas Anders, Baccara, CC Catch, Bad Boys Blue, Lian Ross,
Bananarama,
Kaoma and Opus (…) she performed 2 excellent Mega shows (
Moscow
:
Olympic
Stadium /
St. Petersburg
: New Ice Arena).
During
2004–05, Klaus Busch, Patty’s manager and producer, directed five
German language music projects, including four videos. Two videos were
filmed in the legendary Marbella Club in
Spain
– one by keyboard wizard Sascha Klaar. Both were big hits on
German-speaking TV channels and beyond.
Patty’s
biggest successes in the German-speaking market were her country and
western hits, which became established standards on German radio and
demonstrated her versatility. In the west German (WDR4) radio charts
alone, she had five weeks top-1 hits.
At
the Golden Artists Gala awards of 2005, Patty was voted winner in the Best
Comeback category. However, in the spring of 2006, Patty’s management
took the decision to
concentrate
on English language recordings, to meet the demands of her large
international fan base. The Klaus Busch and Mike West (OTRE-MEDIA)
produced hit, “I Gave You All My Love”, formed the basis of a
long-term contract with Spectre/Universal, which built on Patty’s
worldwide successes of the 1980s.
At
this point, Spectre/Universal quickly released a greatest hits album, All
The Best. The
compilation
includes two Klaus Busch-produced titles, backed by the vocals of Systems
in Blue (in the legendary Hammer Studio) – the longstanding partners of
Dieter Bohlen – to the delight of her large international fan base, who
have followed Patty since the 1980s.
The
next 12 months see the management preparing for Patty’s World Tour for
Peace. Our desire for peace is unbroken.
